Many children who transfer to local schools here may face challenges with the “language barrier” of English, which can lead to stress. They may struggle with understanding what the teacher is explaining in class, spend excessive time on homework, feel overwhelmed by extensive reading assignments, or have difficulty communicating with friends and teachers due to a lack of conversational skills.
At ECS, our lessons aim to strengthen your child’s weak points, increase the time they spend engaging with English, and eliminate their fear of the language. For children who have recently moved to the U.S., we also offer tailored short-term intensive lessons to help them prepare for local schools.
With our kids lessons, you will learn…
- Learning and practicing the alphabet: reading and writing, and basic spelling
- Strengthening vocabulary, grammar, reading comprehension, and writing skills
- Developing communication skills with teachers and friends in school settings
- Providing support for homework, assignments, and essay proofreading
- Mastering clear and accurate pronunciation through sound-focused learning
- Exploring American holidays and culture, such as Easter, Halloween, and Christmas
- Preparing for exams
